First, let me explain the blog name for those who haven't been around. Way back when I was about to apply for Dickey funding, I said that, if I got the money, I would go to a Schalke 04 game (they're the football/soccer team of my heart of hearts) as a Schalke!Unicorn. I got the money so I bought a horn!
Super cute stuff, right?! I'm gonna, thus, be the Prettiest Unicorn at the Football. ;)
In other, non-unicorn-related news, I finally bought my ticket yesterday! So, I'm leaving in three weeks to join the ever lovely and beautiful Therese in Germany before my internship starts. We're gonna have all sorts of bomb ass fun! I can hardly wait. :')
And speaking of the internship, I still don't have housing. I wanted to live either on my own or in a WG with other people my age, but it's starting to look like I'll need to go begging some lady who had emailed me for a homestay? My prof. said she's in contact with a friend about ideas for housing, but so far I've heard nothing from her. Still pressing those thumbs though. When I think about it, it makes me wanna scream. I just want a place to stay that won't take all my money. Why is that so hard to find? It would probably be easier if my internship WASN'T right when classes are starting in Germany, but I can't do anything about that. I contacted a bunch of people, but everyone keeps saying their open room is already taken. It's so frustrating.
Anyway, enough of that. I'll probably write again later when I have more to say. Maybe when I finish shopping and packing.
